Department Training for Faculty & Staff

CARE Services, Ergonomics@Work, Health*Matters, Disability Management Services, and Work/Life Program offer training and consultation to meet the needs and schedules of campus departments, worksites, and groups. To request one of these classes for your department, please call the appropriate number listed for each unit.

Also see Supervising Tools for Managers and Supervisors.

Benefits of departmental training:

  • Addresses the unique issues of your department
  • All members of a working group share the same information and experience
  • The group can develop and follow-up on action plans derived from the training experience

Consultation

Sometimes a department needs additional assistance before, during, or after a training program in order to meet its objectives. The units in Faculty & Staff Health Programs offer consultation to help departments assess their situation and develop solutions and action plans.
