UHS Faculty and Staff Health Programs
As part of University Health Services, the Faculty and Staff Health Programs provide the campus with direct and coordinated services to help faculty and staff live healthy and balanced lives. This is accomplished by providing services such as employee assistance, disability assistance, ergonomics, health and wellness, work-related medical treatment and work/life services. Employee assistance program (EAP) provides confidential help for personal, emotional, family, eldercare and work stress problems; management consultation; and groups, education and training.
Disability Management Services: (510) 643-7921
Disability Management Services includes return-to-work and reasonable accommodation assistance for those who have (or who may develop) health problems affecting employment, administration of the campus Workers' Compensation program, and education and training.Ergonomics@Work: (510) 642-8410
Ergonomics program provides workshops, consultation, coordination of the campus network of department computer workstation evaluators, and the Computer Ergonomics Matching Funds Program.

Wellness program includes healthy lifestyle incentive programs each semester, Know Your Numbers health screening, Step Up to Fitness pedometer program, campus walking group, nutrition workshops and resources, breastfeeding support program, smoking cessation referrals, health and safety resources for managers and supervisors, and more.
