The system is processing your request for a list of majors that tend to appeal to Type 3 students.

The six types come from a theory of personality developed by John L. Holland. This theory proposes that people's interests can be grouped according to six different types, and that these six different types can also be used to describe academic majors. We all have personalities that contain all six types to varying degrees, but it can be useful to identify the types that describe us the most.

The list of majors you are about to see is only a sampling of some of the majors that frequently attract people who share your interests. It is possible for you to share interests with people in majors that you have no desire to pursue. Likewise, your interests may be very unlike the interests of most people enrolled in a major that you would like to pursue. This would not mean that you should not pursue that major -- it simply means that you would not be typical of the sorts of people in the major.

Use the following list as a springboard for further exploration of specific majors. For more assistance see Counseling for Career Concerns.
