Welcome to University Health Services/Tang Center and SHIP!
Students can use UHS medical clinics just as they would a doctor’s
office. In fact, you are encouraged to choose a clinician who will serve
as your primary care provider for the duration of your time at Berkeley.
The facility is fully accredited, staffed by board-certified physicians,
nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, psychiatrists, counselors
and health educators.
UHS features include:
- Urgent Care Clinic
- Comprehensive counseling center staffed by psychiatrists, psychologists
and licensed therapists
- Health promotion unit offering a variety of programs to keep students
healthy and safe
- Team approach incorporating medical care, counseling and health
education
- On-site pharmacy, lab, x-ray and physical therapy departments
