National
Elder Care Locator
(800) 677-1116
TDD/TTY: 711
Elder Care Locator is a free nationwide assistance service (and a model program) to help older persons and their caregivers locate support resources or give information about long-term care planning. You may call this number with the city, state, zip code of a town an elder lives in and they will connect you with the Aging Information and Referral Services Agency for that area. This is an excellent resource for Long-Distance Caregivers. Eldercare Locator links caregivers with state and local resources that enable older persons to remain independent in their own homes.
