- Camp For Caring
Camp for Caring is a weekend retreat for individuals with Alzheimer's disease, stroke, Parkinson's disease, or a related disorder. Offered by the Family Caregiver Alliance, caregivers of adults with cognitive impairment are given the opportunity to have 48 hours of respite while their loved one enjoys a 2-night stay with trained staff and volunteers ina one-on-one non-institutional, scenic Bay Area setting. Camp for Caring is available 4 times per calendar year. Fees are on a sliding scale basis and range from$125 to $25o per person for the entire weekend. Contact: Jennifer Hull

Caregivers Retreat complements Camp for Caring by offering a weekend retreat for caregivers of cognitively impaired adults. Offered twice a year by Family Caregivers Alliance and held in the same facility as the Camp for Caring. Contact: same as above
