Workers' Compensation Administrative Leave for Appointments

Effective September 1, 2001, the incremental lost time benefit is no longer available. Instead, departments may give up to 20 (twenty)* hours of paid administrative leave per workers compensation claim, for medical/physical therapy appointments related to their workers' compensation claim. This leave is for non-exempt employees with a claim accepted by Sedgwick CMS. The administrative leave is not available while the claim is on delay status and after the condition is Permanent & Stationary.

*Rate is for full-time (100%) service.
