Healthy Office Program for Supervisors
The Healthy Office Program offers supervisors tips and resources for
effectively addressing key health and safety issues found in office
environments. These web pages provide supervisor tips, reproducible
educational materials, and campus resources on healthy lifestyle and
wellness, stress, ergonomic computer use, back problems, and personal
safety. Use it to develop an action plan for creating a healthy office
environment.

Promoting a Safe and Healthy Work Environment
Managers and supervisors play a special role in making sure the University's
commitment to providing a safe and healthy work environment is carried
out. This 3 1/2-hour training, developed by Environment, Health &
Safety and University Health Services, helps managers and supervisors
fulfill their responsibilities on health and safety.
What you will learn:
* Understand the responsibilities of supervisors for health and safety
* Steps to take when an injury occurs and how to investigate accidents
* How to develop an action plan for to prevent injuries and create
a safe and healthy work environment
* Campus health and safety resources available to assist you. All
participants receive a comprehensive health and safety resource binder.
