Buy a Pedometer Health*Matters is selling an Accusplit AE2720STEP pedometers, one of the most accurate pedometers on the market today. The pedometer comes with a clip and leash to attach to your waistband. The cost of the pedometer is $7.00 (this price includes tax and is more than half off the retail price). Please pay by cash or check, made to UC Regents.

Three ways to buy a pedometer through Health*Matters:

1. Attend a Step Up to Fitness Workshop, where you may purchase your pedometer, then learn how to use it. The workshop will also teach you how to build a fitness program according to your lifestyle, using walking for cardiovascular activity and strength training exercises that you can do anywhere, anytime. Workshops are offered the third Tuesday of every month at the Tang Center. Please check UCB Learning Center for schedules and enrollment.
2. Download, print, and complete the purchase registration form (pdf). Fax the completed form to Health*Matters at (510) 642-7411. The Wellness Coordinator will contact you to complete your purchase of your pedometer.
   
3. Bring your completed form to the Health*Matters office every Friday between 11 am and 3 pm. A Health*Matters representative will assist you with your purchase.
