Occupational Health Clinic
The campus Occupational Health Clinic at University Health Services - Tang Center, provides the following direct treatment and preventive services to Berkeley departments, faculty and staff:
- urgent medical care and ongoing treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses at no charge to the employee or department,
- pre-placement and periodic medical screening and immunizations coordinated with specific campus departments for employees exposed to certain health risks on the job,
- consultation and education on occupational health concerns.

| About Occupational Health | Physicians and nurse practitioners, trained in occupational medicine are uniquely qualified to give you advice or treatment for work-related health problems. Unlike most medical services, our staff has special expertise in handling the kinds of health issues that people encounter on the job. |
| Appointments | To schedule: call (510) 642-6891 to schedule an appointment for work-related injuries or illnesses. Appointments are available Monday- Friday, 8am - 5pm. To cancel: call (510) 642-6891 to cancel an appointment. If you need to cancel a medical screening appointment, please call within 4 hours prior to the appointment to avoid a $35 no-show charge to the department. |

| Partners in health and safety | Clinicians in Occupational Health work in partnership with other health and safety professionals from the Office of Environment, Health, and Safety, Ergonomics@Work, and Health*Matters to promote a safe and healthy working environment on campus. |
| Urgent care for work-related injuries | Available on a drop-in basis Monday through Saturday at the Urgent Care Clinic on the first floor of the Tang Center. For more information, call (510) 642-3188. |
