Spring
Break Hours - During Spring Break, the Tang Center is open Monday-Thursday,
March 26 - March 29. Please note: Urgent Care is open 8-5 and Pharmacy 8:30-5
pm on these dates. Both services will be closing at 5 instead of 6.
- The
Tang Center will be closed Friday, March 30, for the Cesar Chavez holiday.
- Urgent
Care and Pharmacy will be open as usual Saturday, March 31, from 9 am to 5 pm.
The building is closed Sundays.
- Please check the schedule below for the
hours of specific services during spring break week.

dental emergency, pharmacy refills and other services that may be needed when

campus is Alta Bates Hospital, 2450 Ashby Ave., just east of Telegraph Ave.)

| Cancel appointments | Medical
appointments:
Call (510) 643-7033, 24 hours a day, to cancel an appointment. You
must cancel at least 24 hours in advance or you will be billed a
Late Cancellation Fee.

| Emergency contraception | The Morning After
Pill, used for emergency contraception (not birth control) needs to be take within
72 - 120 hours of unprotected intercourse or a broken condom. (It is most effective
if taken within 72 hours.) If you cannot wait for the Tang Center to open, check
www.ec-help.org for pharmacies
that provide emergency contraception. Also see Pregnancy
