specialties, staff psychiatrists, and licensed physical therapists and

Margaret (Peggy) Brennan, RN
Peggy Brennan joined UHS in 1987 and serves as a nurse in the
Allergy and International Travel Clinics. She received her nursing
degree from the Mount Sinai Hospital School of Nursing in New
York, NY.

Kathleen Ferris, RN, BSN, PHN
Kathleen Ferris is a Nurse Manager in Specialty/Sports Medicine
Clinics who joined UHS in 1989. She received her bachelor's degree
in Nursing ('94) from Samuel Merritt College of Nursing/St. Mary's
College and her diploma in Nursing ('76) from St. Vincent's Hospital
School of Nursing.
In addition to being a general practitioner with an interest
in college health, she has special clinical interests in Case
Management.

Harriet Fukushima, RN
Harriet Fukushima is an Advice Nurse for Clinic 4 who joined UHS
in 1997. She received her bachelor's degree from University of
California, Berkeley and her nursing degree from the Samuel Merritt
Hospital School of Nursing. She was a Fulbright Scholar in the
United Kingdom.
Fukushima also volunteered at a leprosy hospital in Nha Trang,
Vietnam.

Elaine Geffen, RN
Elaine Geffen is a per diem nurse who has been with UHS since
1982. She received her bachelor's degree ('73) from Cal State
Sonoma and her associate's degree in Nursing ('78) from Santa
Rosa Jr. College.

Beth Gorelick, RN
Beth Gorelick has been with UHS since 1989 and serves as a nurse
in the Allergy/Travel Clinic. She received her bachelor's degree
in nursing from University of California, San Francisco.
In addition to being a general practitioner with an interest
in college health, she has special clinical interests in allergy
and travel.

Jonee Grassi, RN, BSN
Jonee Grassi is a clinical nurse in the Specialty and Sports Health
Medicine Clinics, and she has been with UHS since 2005. She is an
Oncology Certified Nurse. Grassi received her bachelor's degree
('73) from San Jose State University, her law degree ('77) from
Santa Clara Law School, and her bachelor's degree in nursing ('97)
from the University of San Francisco. In addition to being a general
practitioner with an interest in college health, she has special
clinical interests in thyroid conditions and Accutane.
Grassi received the Sophie Robinson Award for Excellence in Oncology
Nursing in 2005.

Lynanne Jacob, RN
Lynanne Jacob joined UHS in 1986 and serves as a primary care
nurse. She received her bachelor's degree in nursing ('70) from
Columbia University and her Family Planning Nurse Practitioner
certification ('76) from University of California, San Francisco.
In addition to being a general practitioner with an interest
in college health, Jacob has special clinical interests in eating
disorders and women's health.

Coralie Kenton, RN, BSN, BSHD
Coralie Kenton is a Primary Care staff nurse and an Advice Nurse,
and she has been with UHS since 2004. Kenton received her bachelor's
degree in Human Development ('81) from University of California,
Davis, her nursing degree ('87) from University of California, San
Francisco, and her California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
('83) from University of California, Santa Barbara.
In addition to being a general practitioner with an interest
in college health, she has special clinical interests in mental
illness, diabetes, and women's health
Kenton is also a certified lactation (breastfeeding) educator.

Carol Turner, RN
Carol Turner serves as Urgent Care/Primary Care Manager, and she
joined UHS in 2006. She received her associate's in nursing ('75)
from Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, Michigan, her bachelor's
and nursing degrees ('78) from the University of Michigan - Ann
Arbor, and her master's degree in Management ('96) from John F.
Kennedy University in Orinda, California. In addition to being a
general practitioner with an interest in college health, she has
special clinical interests in pediatrics and nursing management.
Turner also contributed to a section in The New Mother's Book
about teaching your baby to read.

Judy White, RN
Judy White is a per diem advice nurse. She received her bachelor's
degree in nursing ('72) from Columbia University and her master's
degree in nursing ('80) from University of California, San Francisco.
