| Breastfeeding education and support |
Visiting Scholars and Postdocs and their dependents
are eligible for the services offered by the Breastfeeding
Support Program including breastfeeding classes, breast pumps
(discount off retail) and lactation rooms on campus. |
| Crisis/mental health counseling |
Visiting Scholars and Postdocs are eligible for services offered
by CARE Services, the
Employee Assistance Program. Call (510) 643-7754, Monday - Friday,
8 am - 5pm. Confidential messages may also be left with CARE Services
24-hours a day. A counselor will respond on the next business
day.

|
Visiting Scholars and Postdocs should
seek medical care through their primary care providers. Visiting
Scholars may use the Tang Center on a fee-for-service basis. We
do not submit claims to your insurance.
If you are injured on the job, see work-related
